We have also been busy ordering numbers on parcels. We have been talking about one more and one less and talking about the numbers we can add together to make other numbers. Here we are in action ![]()
Our funky finger area has been very popular this week. Each of our activities has encouraged us to develop our fine motor skills and strengthen our fingers ![]()
In our writing area we have been exploring writing patterns. We listened to christmas music that was calm and relaxing and then made marks in time to the music. We made swirls, zig zags, circles and lots more shapes ![]()
In our phonics area this week we have been reading cvc words and then cutting out the pictures to add to Santa's sack. The children's reading is coming along fabulously and we want to thank you for your continued support this term. It really has made a massive difference ![]()
We have also been thinking and learning about symmetry. We took half pictures of a variety of Christmas objects, used a mirror and then replicated the design. Great work everyone ![]()
We finished the week off with the most amazing party. One filled with laughter, smiles, dancing and of course yummy things to eat ![]()
