Week ending 25th April
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. We hope you had a fun and restful time off. We are so excited to be back at school and ready to get stuck into our learning.
This term we begin to look at one of our favourite authors Julia Donaldson. This week we have read one of her stories 'Spinderella'.
We have completed lots of learning opportunities relating to the text. Have a look at our lovely photos below.
This week we welcomed Mrs Shirley to our class. Mrs Shirley will come every Wednesday afternoon to teach us a lovely music session. We loved learning the songs and playing the instruments. What a treat!
In Maths this week we have been thinking about counting strategies to count large amounts. The children shocked our socks off with the ideas they brought to our carpet sessions! We put the strategies into practise in our continuous provision.
Next week our story is 'Stickman'.
