Week ending 28th March
Welcome to our blog. This week we have been learning all about Springtime. We have thought about the changes that take place in nature. We have looked at photographs of spring and written about what we can see. We have completed missing word sentences about spring and found spring words on wordsearches.
In maths we have been sorting objects. We have looked at a variety of items said why we think they are grouped together then we made our own sets and explained why we have chosen certain objects to be grouped. We have been learning about odd and even numbers and how even numbers are linked to doubling numbers. We sorted the Numberblocks into 'even tops' and odd teams. We have practised the days of the week.
We have had lots of lovely springtime activities in our classroom. The weather has been warmer so we've been able to have water to play with again. We've had lots of springtime craft activities.
