Week ending 9th May
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. We have enjoyed another lovely, sunny week in RF. We have been able to have lots of time outside on our playground and enjoying the climbing frame. We enjoy using the chalks to draw and write on the floor. Have a look at one game we played this week.
In Maths this week we have been thinking about how we can move shapes to make other shapes. Have a look at one of our activities. We had to use the Numicon to build the picture.
Our text this week has been 'Snail and the Whale'. We have enjoyed lots of lovely writing opportunities based on our text. Have a look at us in action!
On Wednesday we welcomed Mrs Shirley again to our class. This week she played us a song 'Our House' by Madness and she asked us to play along to the beat. The children were fantastic at listening to the instructions and playing along.
In PE we were thinking all about the most effective way to jump. We talked about landing safely and played lots of games to show our jumping skills. We then had a go at jumping over some hurdles. We had so much fun!
