What another busy week! It is all go, go, go in Year 3!
Maths
This week we have been learning how to collect, present and interpret data. We collected data using a tally chart, we then displayed the data as a pictogram and bar chart. Following that, we answered one step and two step questions.
English
What a nimble-minded young girl that Matilda is! We have been looking at the ways Roald Dahl describes Matilda, then using the Talk for Writing process to write our own. They captured Matilda’s intelligence beautifully.
Topic
We have been looking at Haigh Hall from different angles, we then began to sketch the hall, along with the natural features within the grounds of Haigh Hall.
P.E
On your marks, get set, go! We have been thinking about the different speeds required to complete different distances running races. We then learnt how to control our speed and pace yourself.
