Welcome back everyone and Happy New Year

This week we have started a new unit of work about myths and legends. We read the myth of Kuang-Li, which the children really enjoyed, and they then worked very hard writing a summary of the story.
Topic
We had a fabulous first history lesson by becoming archaeologists and uncovering various Roman artefacts.
We aren’t sure what all the artefacts are but the children have devised questions they would like to research next week to find out more information about these artefacts, who used them and for what.
Science
The children investigated with torches as a start to our unit of Light and Dark. They then recorded natural and manmade light sources.
The children have come back to school keen and ready to work and have worked hard an all areas of the curriculum.
