11th October

Welcome back to our class blog. It's been such a busy week, read on to find out what we've been up to.

In English we started our new story 'Zog'. It's about a dragon who goes to school to learn all the things a dragon needs to know. We sequenced the story and looked at what makes a sentence or story exciting.

In Maths we have been ordering and comparing numbers. We are getting quite confident with place value to 100 but need to keep practising to make sure we know everything about these numbers.

In Science we have been learning about keeping healthy. We have already thought about what foods we need to eat to be healthy, so this week we thought about exercise. We did lots of different exercises for 1 minute and thought about what it does to our body. We learned that we breath faster, get warmer and our heart beats faster. All of this keeps us fit and healthy.

In Topic we have been practising our sketching skills to get us ready to recreate some artwork in the style of Theodore Major next week. We have some talented sketchers in our class!

Well that's all for this week, apart from telling you Miss Rose is getting married tomorrow! We surprised her by making a special card and wishing her good luck on her big day.

Thanks for reading and see you next week

Love from
