11th October

Welcome back to our class blog. It's been such a busy week, read on to find out what we've been up to.

In English we started our new story 'Zog'. It's about a dragon who goes to school to learn all the things a dragon needs to know. We sequenced the story and looked at what makes a sentence or story exciting.

In Maths we have been ordering and comparing numbers. We are getting quite confident with place value to 100 but need to keep practising to make sure we know everything about these numbers.

In Science we have been learning about keeping healthy. We have already thought about what foods we need to eat to be healthy, so this week we thought about exercise. We did lots of different exercises for 1 minute and thought about what it does to our body. We learned that we breath faster, get warmer and our heart beats faster. All of this keeps us fit and healthy.

In Topic we have continued to practise our sketching skills and are getting even better at it, we have some budding artists in our class! Next week we will be recreating some artwork in the style of Theodore Major so watch out for it on next week's blog.

Well that's all for this week, see you next week for our last blog of this half term!

Love from
