14th February

Welcome back to our class blog.

What a busy couple of weeks we have had in Year 2.

In Maths we have been learning about division by sharing and grouping amounts. We have been able to solve lots of different problems using our new skills!

In English we have been writing instructions based on the story of Rapunzel. We thought about what we would need to do to rescue a princess from a tower. We came up with some exciting ideas such as making our own ladder out of sticks, using camouflage and training a friendly dragon to help us.

On Tuesday we went on a windy adventure to Liverpool. We were almost blown off our feet when we arrived and got off the bus, but once we got into the Liverpool museum we had a great time. We lover learning about the history of Liverpool and even got to go on our own tour to see the sights.

That's all for this week, we will see you again soon.

Love from

Mrs Hannon, Mrs Haselden

and all of Y2F
