Hello and a warm welcome to our very first Reception W class Blog. Here every week we will showcase some of the amazing things we do in class. This week, for our first week, we have been using the text Starting School. A lovely story focusing on what it is like to start school - perfect for us
Let's take a little look at this weeks highlights....
We have had so much fun exploring our new classroom environment. We have been busy discovering all of the things we can do in the different areas to help us learn new skills and knowledge. Here we are enjoying a story in the Reading Den
We have also been developing our social skills, in particular sharing and taking turns. We have been exploring and playing different types of maths games where we can develop these skills further. We have had a great time learning how to work together
We have also been drawing and writing about the things we have enjoyed during our first week. Take a little peek at some of our wonderful illustrations and writing. We are so very proud.
Next week we will be using the text Marvellous Me. Have a little look on You Tube and listen to the story before we see you again next week.
