Well done Y2W

So don't forget you can wear your own clothes on Monday.

English

In English this week we have started looking at another Julie Donaldson Book

Superworm.

If you want to hear the story, and find out what a Superworm can do for your self, click on the link below.

Superworm by Julia Donaldson

A reading of Superworm for my nephew's birthday.

Maths

We have been learning about money this week, in particular looking at coins and how we can add them together to make different amounts and using our addition skills to work out how much money was in the piggy banks.

Some children were also set the problem, to work out different ways to make £2.

Science

Our topic this half term is 'Animals and their Habitats'.

This week we looked at the animals that you may find in these four habitats.

Urban

Coastal

Woodland

Pond

Next week we will be going to the Alps to look at micro habitats, so depending on the weather, we might be needing our wellies!

Children in Need and Anti-bullying week.

We enjoyed dressing up on Friday and wearing our spots and odd socks, thank you to all those who sent in donations.

That's all for this week.

Have great weekend

Love from
