In English this week our story has been Puff the Pup. We thought the dog was going to catch the frog but he was scared of the water! Silly dog! This week we had a go at writing our sentences independently. It was tricky to remember all the sounds in all the words but we all had a really good try. If you want to try writing a sentence at home, have a go using the picture below.
Maths
In maths this week we have started to look at part-whole models to help us to add. (Grown ups - we didn't use these to help us when we were at school, see if your children can teach you what to do!) We spent a lot of time using the part whole models to start to write number sentences like 6 + 2 = 8
Topic
In topic this week we have used all the artistic skills we have been learning to create our own self portraits! WOW!
