21st April

Hello again ....hope you have all had a lovely Easter...

This week in Maths we have been working on Fractions.....tenths ... We all understand what a fraction is and the meaning of numerator and denominator.

We will shall be continuing fraction work next week too.

In English we have been looking at Myths and Legends. In the photographs below the children are creating a "Freeze Frame" of a scene from the Legend called Kuang-Li. They performed fabulously.

In Topic we have been finding out about Droughts and what a  tsunami is .

Rhys gave us a dictionary like perfect definition of a tsunami......well done

The children then created individual posters informing about what to do in the event of such a natural disaster. The children are also very aware that here in Wigan we have nothing to fear from a tsunami and why.....

Attendance has been good this week and I thank you for your continued support with this.

Remember children.......

It's cool to be in school

Have a lovely weekend and we shall see you all bright eyed and bushy tailed on Monday morning.

Love from Mrs Forsyth Mrs Foster and Mrs Marron     no    crying

Finally, have your say.  Each week you will have a chance to decide on which new song we will learn in next week's whole school assembly.  Click on the link below to take part in an online vote.
