I am looking forward to speaking to you about your little one!

************************************************************************************************

This week in pre-school we have concluded our 'Physical Fortnight'.

The children should now be secure in saying some ways that we can be healthy.

Two of the five ways are:

The other three are:

Keeping our body clean

Sleeping

Eating fruit and vegetables!

We drew and wrote about our favourite way to be healthy.

Noah drew a bubbly bath

Lucie drew her favourite fruit

Macie drew herself jumping on the trampoline

Yawar drew bananas and grapes

Charlie drew his new bed!

We also enjoyed our weekly trip to the ALPS.

We even found dandelion clocks and counted how many times we needed to blow the get all of the seeds off the stem.

We also found some creepy crawlies in the flower beds!  We made sure to put them back where we found them and talked about the flowerbed being their home (habitat!)

Anika also found some empty snail shells to add to her collection at home.

The children have enjoyed exploring sounds and the different range of sounds a piano can make.  We enjoyed making high pitched noises and low pitched noises and attempting to match these using our voices.

We celebrated with Ruby this week as she has begun to write her name.  There are some tricky letters in her name but this week she persevered and was very proud of herself!

Next week we will be having a 'tech week'.  We will be learning about technology around us and what we use different types of technology for.

See you all next week!
