It has been World Cup fever in Y3W this week. We have been finding out about Iceland, where it is on the world map, the capital, what continent it belongs to and the food eaten by the Icelandic people. (lamb, yoghurt and hotdogs.)
The children also did a super factual piece of writing about Reykjavik- the capital city. They wrote about the fact that it is the greenest and safest cities. The children wrote about the Northern Lights and that one myth is that when the lights dance in the sky a storm is coming.
