Hello……
Maths- We have been working on multiplying both 2 and 3-digit numbers by 1 digit with great success. Next week we shall be working on division.
English- Year 3 have been working on the book Vesuvius Poovius, which they are thoroughly enjoying. On Friday they used persuasive writing to create an advert for the invention. All the teachers were extremely impressed by the work the children produced.
Topic- We investigated through text and watching short clips what life was like for the soldiers in the Roman Army. We found out:
they had to join up for 25 years.
The soldiers had to learn to mount and dismount in full armour and without stirrups.
We seemed to have a few poorly children this week so hopefully everyone is better and we can earn another ribbon for good attendance.
