Welcome back after half term
Maths – The children have been working on fraction compliments that equal a whole one.
e.g 1/5 + ____ = 1
We have also been calculating fractions of varying amounts. All the children have worked hard and made progress.
English- We have been working on our comprehension skills, reading texts and then answering various questions base on the text, some of the questions are easy to answer but some require us to think and re read the text. This is a skill that we are learning.
World Book Day was a great success, what a fabulous array of costumes we had. Thank you so much for your support with this.
We have also been working on our Special Person Assembly to be held on Wednesday, its one not to be missed, so hope to see you there.
