Welcome back!
We've had another busy week in 2WF!
In English we've been collecting vocabulary for our writing on the Polar Express. We have watched a short clip from the film, put ourselves in the boys position and thought about what he could see, hear and feel. Next week the children will be writing a diary entry pretending to be the boy and describe what happened.
In maths the children have started work on multiplication! We have looked at equal groups of numbers, repeated addition and started to use arrays to help us with the calculations.
In Topic we wrote a travel guide to one of the countries in the UK. We wrote about the country's famous landmarks and traditional food. We also researched some interesting facts!
