Coronavirus Update

These guidelines are intended to assist us in implementing precautionary measures to reduce the spread of COVID- 19 disease within our setting.

Children are organised into room bubbles- your child's bubble is the Sunflower Room. We do not mix with other bubbles within the nursery environment throughout the day.

Both staff/children should only attend nursery if they are symptom free. Staff may ask regular health questions for children coming into nursery for precautionary reasons.

If your child develops one of the symptoms - persistent or new cough, high temperature or loss of sense of taste and smell they must NOT attend nursery, you must book your child a COVID test NHS number 119, if your child tests positive they MUST stay at home for 10 days.

You must inform us if your child tests positive.

Negative result- if your child tests negative they can return to nursery as long as they are well enough.

IF YOUR CHILD SHOWS ANY COVID 19 SYMPTOMS THEY CANNOT RETURN TO NURSERY WITHOUT A NEGATIVE RESULT.

If your child shows any of the above symptoms while in nursery you will be asked to collect your child as soon as possible and arrange a test.

If any member of your household have a temperature, new persistent cough, loss of taste or smell ALL members of the household must stay at home. Members of the household showing symptoms must get a COVID test and others get tested if they show symptoms. You must inform us of a positve test result and your child will be asked to stay at home for 14 days.

These guidelines are subject to change depending on current procedures, we will update accordingly.
