Escaped!
Unfortunately there wasn't a picture of an elephant for this blog!
Last week we found out that Kate the elephant had escaped from Blackpool Zoo! We received a letter from the zoo asking for our help. So we spent the week planning escaped posters and telling everyone we saw to keep look out. Then we received another letter saying that the elephant had been spotted at the DW Stadium! We quickly finished our escaped posters and put them up around our school, while looking for clues. On Friday night, Ursula saw the elephant in our school and took some photographs of it! Have a look underneath. We wrote a letter to the zoo and explained what we saw. The next day, the zoo phoned the office to say they had found Kate and she was back safe and well at the zoo! What an exciting week!
