Lots of fun times at nursery!!
Snow fun!!
This week we had two very different focused activities. Our first was a mathematical challenge were we attempted to fit various puzzle pieces into the correct places, this helped to develop our hand to eye coordination and our understanding of were things belonged.
Our second activity was to begin to recognise big and small when in a familiar context. We used large balls of play dough and smaller resources such as Pom poms, feathers and pipe cleaners to allow the children to begin to switch their physical movements from big to small. This means using two hands for larger objects them switching to using their thumb and fingers for smaller objects.
As you can see the children have all got stuck in this week and enjoyed their activities!!
