Hello again and welcome back to another busy week in Y6.
Have you seen the news story that the Iceland supermarket had its Christmas advert banned? Well, we have used the poem it contains as our inspiration this week. "There's a Rang-tan in my bedroom" tells the touching story of a young girl who has realised orang-utans have become seriously threatened due to the farming of palm oil, which has many uses.
In maths there has been some excellent progress in how to calculate addition and subtraction of mixed number fractions - very tricky indeed!!!
