Happy New Year!

Welcome back.

This week has been a busy week, getting settled back into our routines.

In English, we have been reading the story of 'The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.'  We have been thinking of different adjectives to describe how food tastes.

In Maths, we have been ordering and comparing numbers to 20.  We have been using the words greater than, less than and equal to to compare the numbers.

In topic, we have been looking at our local area.  We went on a local walk.  We then learned how symbols are used to represent places on a map.

In Science, we have been learning about our 5 senses.  We thought about which body part is used for each sense and examples of when we hear, see, taste, touch and smell.

Have a lovely weekend.

Miss Lodge and Mrs Duckworth.
