Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great long weekend. Here is what we have been up to this week...
We have been looking at 2D and 3D shapes in maths and getting to grips with some tricky mathematical language regarding shape. In English we have been reading a variety of texts and are still really enjoying our class novel, it's getting really interesting now...we can't wait to see what happens.
In topic, we have continued our work on the Mayans and have been looking into the types of masks they wore and the reasons they wore them. We then designed our own masks taking into account the materials and events they would have been used for.
It's all been about micro-organisms in science and we discussed how they can be both harmful and helpful.
