In English this week, we have been reading 'The Three Little Pigs'. We have been story mapping the model text and we have been using actions to retell the story. We have sequenced the pictures in order and have learned how to use the past tense when writing.
In Maths, we have been learning how to add. We have been using counters and part-whole models to understand the relationship between the two parts adding together to make the whole.
In Science, we have been learning about the properties of materials. We looked at why certain materials are better than others due to their properties. We looked at the design of the school and why we had glass windows, brick walls and fabric uniform.
In topic, we have been learning about toys now and in the past. We have been using a timeline to show chronology.
Well done to all the children who are bringing their reading bags and books in daily. They have been collecting up lots of stickers this week.
