Friday 13th January

Welcome back! I hope you all had a great festive period and a happy new year!

Well done to our pupil of the week! This award was given for her continuous love of reading and learning, this is rippling into every aspect of her school life. She was deservedly awarded the trophy this week.

Well done to our superstar readers! Who have read everyday this week! Keep it up!

This week we have secured our knowledge of multiplication. We have been practising using the grid method, then we progressed onto the column method! We really impressed Mr Fletcher with our knowledge!

We wrote a recount of our holidays using headings and sub-headings, we then began to look at newspapers. Towards the end of the week we pretended we were journalists and reported of the vandalism caused by Goldilocks!

In Science, we were showing of our knowledge of rocks and soils in this weeks quiz. Most of us got full marks!

We started, to look at our new topic 'The Romans'. We started by looking at the Roman invasion of Britain!

In PSHE we made our New Years Resolutions and told Mr Fletcher our aims for the year!

Thank you for reading!

Have a safe weekend and we will see you on Monday!
