We have had a great week in year 6 with lots of new learning going on!
In English we have done lots of reading ranging from our new class novel, Letters from the Lighthouse, to information about tigers. We have also written a poem about what we would put in a magic box – we had some very interesting ideas!
It’s all been about rounding in maths and your children seem to have got a pretty good grasp on it.
In science we carried out an investigation to see how shadows change, we them recorded our results. In topic we have continued our learning on WW2 and found out who were Britain’s allies and axis during the war.
Another full-on week in 6W – we look forward to what next week will bring!
Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday.
Love from Mrs Parry and Mrs Melling xx
