Friday 13th September 2019

In English this week, we have been learning how to write sentences.  We have been working really hard on leaving finger spaces between our words.  Please help us with this at home when we do our homework.

In Maths, we have been learning how to find the number that is one more and one less.  We have used counters and pictures to help us with this.

In Science, we have been learning about the properties of materials.  The children felt lots of different materials and decided if they were hard, soft, bumpy, rough, smooth, stretchy etc.

In topic, we have been continuing our work on drawing self portraits.  We have been thinking about adding detail to our facial features.

Well done to all the children who are bringing their reading bags and books in daily.  They have been collecting up lots of stickers this week.

Enjoy the weekend.

Miss Lodge and Mrs Duckworth.
