Well it's been a miserable week outside with never ending rain but it's been shinning in our Year 1 class this week.
All of the children have worked exceptionally hard with their reading as they have completed the phonic screening check. I have been blown away with the children and their phonics ability.
In maths we have been learning all about fractions. We have learnt 1/2 and 1/4 and we split shapes into 2. We then learnt how to find 1/2 of an amount.
In topic we have started our new topic which is The Seaside. The children enjoyed learning about the locations of the Seaside as well as the features of the Seaside.
Well done to Mia who achieved her Yellow spelling badge and Nicole whi achieved her Green spelling badge this week.
