Expanding vocabulary through a Harry Potter text, finding synonyms for new words.
Using Talk for Writing to explore a picture of a moon, creating poetry from the descriptions we have collectively come up with.
Maths
Rounding decimal numbers up to two decimal places. Challenging our brains with a countdown style maths solver.
Topic
Creating our Greek pots using balloons and gum paper. They are coming along nicely and will soon be decorated.
Physical Education
We have been lucky enough to have a visit from Paralympian, Craig Mccan, who had us exercising before giving us a talk on the power of trying new things and never giving up. It was very inspirational.
Science
We have started to look at different materials. How they are made and used. What has the best purpose. This week we collected different materials from around the school and got to explore them.
