Maths
This week we have looked at the inverse of some operations, which means working out the related sums to an equation. We then moved on and looked at multiplication and division facts. We round the week of with a times table treasure hunt.
English
Poems Poems Poems.
This week we have looked at different poems.Long ones, short ones, rhyming ones, nonsense poems and poems that use alliteration. We picked out the key features of each and acted some out. Keep an eye on the blog as the videos will be up soon.
Topic
This week we have been looking at different pasta dishes, we have looked at the ingredients and thought about what would make our favourite pasta dish, ready to start designing our own. We have also been looking at natural disasters and their effect.
Music
Mr Grimshaw came in and introduced us to opur new instrument. We are learning to play the xzylophone. I think you will all enjoy it.
Computing
We finished our computing topic this week by making a wind detector out of lego and programming it to make a noise when wind is detected. Check out our pictures!
