Welcome back to Year 5F’s blog for this week. On Monday, the children visited Upholland High School for a Taster Day. They had a really great time and sampled a variety of different lessons. Some of the lessons they took part in were ICT, Textiles, Humanities, Science, Resistant Materials and Food Technology.
On Wednesday morning, M&M Theatre Production Company came into school and performed The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The children thoroughly enjoyed this end of year treat. Here are some photos of the action…
Also, this week (despite all the rain) it has been Sports Day in school and the children had a fabulous time. Here are some photos from the afternoon…
English – The children have created some fantastic pieces of writing which has been inspired by the BBC trailer for the Olympics. Take a look at this amazing piece of film for yourself…
The children have been thinking about all the different types of sentences they know and tried to include them in their writing. It is an opportunity for them to ‘show off’ all that they have learned in Year 5.
Our certificate this week was awarded to all Y5F for their truly outstanding behaviour during our trip to Upholland High School – they stood out from the rest!!
