Mayan mask making
Hi and welcome back to 6F's blog!
We have started to study the Highwayman in English and we are absolutely hooked! We have explored different characters and written in a range of styles. We are loving this poem and will continue working on it next week.
Our topic this term is on the Mayans - a really exciting history topic looking at an ancient civilisation, from Central America, from over 4000 years ago. We have even made some Mayan masks!
In maths we have been collecting and presenting data in a variety of ways including tallies, bar charts and line graphs. We have collected car information to the age of trees!
We designed a dinosaur in Science based on our inheritance and evolution topic - the ideas were interesting to say the very least!
No rest here in year 6!! A busy week as always. Have a great week end and we will see you on Monday.
