Welcome back to Year 4 blog. Did you miss us? Bet you did.
Earlier this week we started our class reader. It's an amazing book called `The Legend of Podkin One-Ear'. You've probably heard of it -we know you have -as lots of us are that fired up that we have been telling our parents all about it. Please sign our Podkin bookmarks as these will be put into a draw to win a copy of the book.
In English, we have been working on an animation called Ride of Passage. We have been writing just the first part of the story (the title sequence) as a story. Take a look at the animation here. We're sure you'll enjoy it.

We think that the title -Ride of Passage is a play on words. A `Rite of Passage' is a point in someone's life where the move from one thing to another. We think Toki, the little boy, is sent hunting to prove that he was growing up and becoming a man.
In Maths, we have been rounding numbers to the nearest 10. Wow, our teachers found an amazing video. Take a look at the Rounding Rap.
Each Wednesday over the next few weeks, Mr Crooks and Mrs Pickavance will be taking some of us into the small hall to use the climbing wall. Some of us went this week -take a look at the pictures below.
