Friday 16th December

Well, what a week!

Can we take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the Mary Berry's and Paul Hollywood's out there. You support this week for the Westfield Christmas Bake Off is greatly appreciated!

Well done to our mathematical wizard for winning this weeks award!

Also, a big well done to our superstar readers.

Maths

In maths, we have been learning how to multiply and divide using different methods. At the start we found it tricky, but now we have conquered it.

English

We wrote the text to go with the images in 'The Snowman'. Some of them are brilliant and could easily be published!

Science

In Science, we investigated the permeability of four different soil types. We did this by measuring how much water passess through in 5 minutes. This allowed us to determine which soil would be the best for growing vegetables! It turns out that peaty soil is the best.

P.E

We had two P.E lessons this week. In the first lesson we went orienteering in the ALPS and in the second P.E lesson we went to the small hall and took part in teamwork games. Then we went on the climbing wall!

Music

Were ready for the big performance and can't wait for you to see it! See you on Monday at 2:45pm!

Have a safe and great weekend with lots of rest ready for another busy week!
