Well done to Harrison for getting our achievement certificate for building a super rocket and evaluating it. Harrison said he liked his rocket because it was aerodynamic!!
English.
In English, we have been writing our own new Oi Frog poems. We decided that the author had used the verb 'sit' way too much in the poem so we changed the verb to some other verbs.
Here are some examples:
Puffins peck muffins.
Cats purr on mats.
Foxes hide in boxes.
Frogs jump over logs.
We think we have really improved it!!
Maths
In Maths, we have been learning about taking away. We have been using a numberline to subtract. We have also been doing mixed addition and subtraction to teach us to look for the sign.
Topic
In topic, we have been selecting materials to build our own rocket out of. We then evaluated our selection and thought about how we could improve it if we were to build it again.
