This weeks Pupil of the week was Maisey, she is an all round superstar!
Maths
In maths This week we have learnt how to order and compare number up to 1000.Then we learnt how to find 10 more and 10 less as well as 100 more and 100 less. At the end of the week we learnt how to count in 50s and 100s.
English
We have started to read the Stone Age boy. On Tusedayy we had to think about what the book could be about, we wrote a prediction. Then on Wednesdayy we had to write a summary about the book. Thursday saw us answer comprehension questions about the book. On Friday we completed a story mountain about the book.
Science
In science this week we looked at a balanced diet and had to design a balanced meal.
Topic
In Topic we had to research and create a poster about one of the wonders of the world. We then presented to the class.
Music
In Music we met Mr Grimshaw and started to learn how to play the xylophone.
R.E
On Monday we met Mrs Roberts who will be teaching us R.E all year, we had lots of fun and can't wait for next week.
P.E
We carried on learning about team games, focusing on Rugby. This week we looked at evading tacklers.
French
In French we learnt how to greet people and learnt a new finger rhyme.
