Hello and welcome to 2W's blog!
It's been an exciting couple of weeks! During our first week we had 100% attendance!!! WOW! The teachers were really impressed! Lets see how many times we can get it this term!
In English we have been looking at the story The Troll. The children designed their own creature, they were amazing! They then wrote about their creatures and described them.
This week we have learnt about nouns and spotted them within the story They're really enjoying all the work based on the Troll!
In Maths we have been looking at numbers and place value. The children are able to say what each digit stands for and make different numbers using the Dienes equipment!
This term we will be looking at 'Wonderful Westfield' for our topic lessons. We have looked at where Westfield is and where Wigan is by looking at different maps.
Can we just remind that PE is on Tuesdays so please bring kits in ready for the lesson.
