Well done to our Achievement Certificate winner this week, which goes to Kian, for beginning to work independently and trying hard to use his sounds when writing.
In English we have been learning about 'Jack and the Beanstalk.' We have changed the story to invent our won new character and our own new place at the top of the beanstalk.
In maths, we have been finding one more and one less on numbers up to 100. We have been using tens and ones to represent the numbers.
This week in Science we have been continuing our work on plants. We have been on a plant hunt around school and have looked at the difference between garden plants and wild plants. We drew the plants that we had seen.
In Topic, we have been learning about where our food comes from. We have designed a sandwich and thought about where ham, cheese, butter, bread and milk come from.
Keep up reading at home and bringing in your book bags to earn Westfield dollars!
Enjoy the weekend
