Making circuits
Hello and welcome back. Here's what we have been up to this week...
In English we have been exploring a wide range of texts and looking at inference. We also learned a great strategy for what makes a good reader - visualising! We had a go at visualising what we were reading and sketching down our ideas.
It's been all about fractions this week, adding and subtracting them. Children have gained a great understanding of this concept.
We have been looking at circuits this week in science and have had a go at making a simple one. We also experimented with what happens when we change or add a variable.
In topic we have been exploring a range of countries and their capitals and looking at longitude and latitude.
Another busy week here in year 6!
