Friday 19th October

Making music!

Hello and welcome back to our class blog, the last for this half term! Can you believe how quickly that has gone??

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for attending parent's evening - it was good to meet you and discuss how your child's settled into year 6. If you couldn't make it, please feel free to come and see me to have a chat about your child.

Your children have learned so much in the past seven weeks and have displayed great attitudes to learning.

In just this short space of time, we have covered 3 novels, grammar aspects, a range of writing genres, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and that's only the tip of the iceberg! We have even been learning the xylophone to play along to Jackson 5's I'll be there!!

We are looking forward to what the next half term brings and teaching your children a whole new set of skills. Have a great week off and we will see you on the 29th.

Love from Mrs Parry and Mrs Melling xx
