Science Investigation
In science we investigated which modern day material would have been the best to keep people dry during the Great fire of London as they were escaping on boats.
We tested, various cotton materials, felt and nylon. The children conducted the investigation in mixed groups and enjoyed observing the results for themselves.
We discovered that nylon was the best material because it is waterproof.
