Hi and welcome back!
In year 6 this week we have been manic! We have done lots of work on reading, including group and whole class reading - we looked at the text Beetle Boy which many children were excited to put on their Christmas list! We have also been looking at concrete and abstract nouns to create some interesting places - we had 'the hotel of horrors', 'field of fury', 'jail of jealousy' and much more!
We have continued with fractions in maths and are becoming really quite confident with them...even the tricky ones!
In topic we wrote a Guide to Sydney. We watched some travel guides, did some research and had lots of discussion before writing our very own.
We have continued designing our circuit games in Science and can't wait to make them !
