This week we have been learning how to write better sentences by using two adjectives to describe our noun, as well as writing in paragraphs.

‘The green, colossal ogre had to duck under his front door just to get out of his house!’

Our spellings this week were words containing ‘ai’. Well done to everyone who improved from last week or got 10/10.

Well done Arthur and Mia for reading every night at home this week!!!

What a super week we have had learning about place value! Our mathematicians have been ordering and comparing number, but this week’s big focus was counting to 1000 in 50 and 100. Next week we will be moving on to addition and subtraction.

Using our geography skills, we located our 4 favourite (of the 7) wonders of the world, then started our design of a photo frame. We then listed what materials we would need and picked our favourite choice from our 4 designs. They are going to look amazing!

The leg bone’s connected to the hip bone, the hip bone’s connected to the back bone…

As you might have guessed, this week we have been looking at the skeleton. the bones are called and why it is important that we have a skeleton.

This week in PE we have been practicing our rugby skills. How to hold a ball, pass a ball, run with a ball, and pick up a ball mid run. Hand-eye coordination has been key, especially for our tricky skills. We have also been great at team work and supporting our teams.

We have been on Purple Mash, using the chrome books, writing our blogs. Filling them with information about the wonders of the world.
