It is that time of the week again!
Well done to our pupil of the week Jack, for his outstanding attitude to learning. Also, a big well done goes to Fawaz, who finished the week at the top of the spelling shed leader board after a whopping 73 games in one day!
Maths
We have continued to focus on place value. We have been counting forwards and backwards in 50's & 100's. As well as comparing and ordering numbers to 1000.
English
This week we have been building up to our hot task. We looked at various sentence openers to enhance our writing. Then, we learnt how to write in paragraphs. After that, we started to draft our hot task.
Science
This week we labelled a human skeleton and started to think about how our body moves.
Computing
We continued to produce a blog about the Seven Wonders of The World.
Topic
This weeks lesson was design technology. We designed our photo frames and thought about the materials we would need to produce them.
P.E
In rugby we learnt how to carry the ball, as well how to score points.
R.E
We have been thinking about special books. We thought about books that were special to us and wrote a book review about that book.
Music
We continued to learn how to play African drums.
