Hello and welcome to our blog.
We have been working really hard this week completing some 'tests' in English, Reading and Maths to show how much we have learned in Year 1.
In English we have been learning how to use the prefix un and the suffixes 'est' and 'er'
In Maths we have been about time. We have learnt the difference between day and night. The children have also learnt how to sequence the events in a day.
We have also learnt to recognise coins. Can you show your child a variety of coins for them to name?
On Wednesday we enjoyed our Sports day. The children were fantastic and had so much fun. Thank you to all who attended.
