Wow -where did this first half term go? The highlight of the week in Year 4 was captured on video -thank you to all the parents that came along to see our assembly live. Enjoy, have a lovely half-term break, and we'll see you back in school on Monday 31st October for a frighteningly good time.
We will post a link to the video shortly, thank you.
Sorry for the technical delay. Mr P, who was going to do a little editing of the Autumn Assembly video, forgot to copy the file to his laptop, and so, is unable to post it just yet. In the meantime, what else have we been up to you ask...
In Maths, we have been focusing on subtraction with decomposition. It's amazing how good we've got at this method. Our teachers are really proud of our work.
In topic, we have been focusing on our Tutankhamun masks. Over the past two weeks we have used brown gummed strip to cover a balloon. We worked in pairs. Then, once it had dried, we split it in half and used half each to add features. We added the headdress, eyes and nose. This week we have been painting them. We've got to say, they look pretty amazing.
We will post the video the first week back after half term, we are sorry for the delay.
Take care, and we'll see you when we are back.
