Bonjour
Maths
This week we have continued to multiply and divide by 4 & 8. We then applied our fluency knowledge to answer reasoning and problem solving questions.
English
On Monday we completed our visitor recount. Then we learnt how to punctuate direct speech. On Thursday, we used our inference skills to di-sect the new John Lewis Christmas Advert. Friday focussed on spelling. We used Spelling Shed to practice our Year 3 spellings.
Science
We learnt all about Mary Anning who was a significant person as she was the first fossil hunter! Then we used our reading skills and extensive vocabulary to answer true or false questions about what we have already learnt this half term.
P.E
This week we inputted our own moves to 6 beats that will be slotted into our Haka performance.
Topic
In Topic we learnt about the changes in Britain from the Stone Age through the Bronze Age and into the Iron Age. Why don’t you watch these videos and learn something new?

Computing
We began to learn how Green Screen is used in films for the special effects. Later in this term, we will be filming in front of a Green Screen and editing the background.
PSHE
It was Anti-bullying week last week, so this week we thought about the small changes we could make to help to reduce bullying in the world.
See you all on Monday 😊
