Friday 28th February

Hi,

Do you know what a miptor is? You do! They are the fascinating rat-like, snake-like, mouse-like reptilian, mammalian creatures that make fascinating, adorable pets. Not believe us? They exist in Y6! All the children have invented a new creature (which they are pretending is real) and are currently in the midst of drafting a written guide in how a perspective owner should care for their miptor appropriately. Come back next week for some example extracts.

In maths, we have learned how to calculate area and perimeter this week. We even investigated how much it would cost to resurface the MUGA and erect new perimeter fencing. It was fun to watch the class use trundlewheels to measure lengths for the first time in a long time.

Have a good week until next week!
