Friday 29th March 2019

This week's stars of the week was Thomas for perservering and always doing so with a big smile on his face.  You can do it Thomas!  He also impressed all of the teachers with his certificate and won pupil of the week.

A big well done to all of 1W for their attendance this week.  We have been able to wear our own clothes today because we had 99% attendance last week.

In Maths this week, we have been counting up to 50.   We have been using the dienes to count the number of tens and ones in numbers up to 50.

In English, we have been innovating the story of The Enormous Turnip.  We have made a story map and have been using it to retell the story.  We have changed the story by changing the enormous vegetables and the animals that helped to pull it out of the ground.

In Science, we have been looking at the different parts of a tree.  We have identified the bark, trunk, branches, blossom and roots.

Happy Mother's Day to all of our lovely Mums! Enjoy your weekend with your children.
